I'm Jessica Dowlatsingh. I'm a mama of school aged identical twin boys so I'm in the trenches right along with you - going through the highs and lows of parenting and trying to take care of myself in the process.
I know exactly how overwhelming and seemingly impossible it can feel to look after yourself while on this 24/7 job of motherhood, and I also know how vital it is to yours and your family's wellbeing to ensure that you do.
I created the Zen Mama Community to simplify self care for moms and make it practical, effective, and sustainable so that busy moms like us can avoid burn out, reduce pain, and be the type of mom we want to be.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT?
This is the magical part. Ready for it… practically none. There will be the live class once per month that will be approximately 15 minutes. The monthly workshop will be around 30 minutes. The rest of your practice is done while you go about regular life. That’s right - while you work, cook, clean, shower, bathe your children… all of that “down” time can also be used to nurture YOU!
I'VE NEVER PRACTICED YOGA BEFORE. IS THAT OK?
Definitely! This program is perfect for people at any level, including brand new beginners, as it meets people where they are and helps them develop their practice safely.
I'M PREGNANT OR HAVE RECENTLY GIVEN BIRTH. CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Provided you have the go ahead from your doctor, absolutely! I will be offering cautions and tips for people who are pregnant or recently postpartum.
I HAVE INJURIES. CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Absolutely! That is the beautiful part of yoga. I will work with you to modify your practice so that it is safe and beneficial. Please contact me via in portal messaging and let me know so I can work with you. Once again, do ensure that you have the approval of your doctor.
HOW CAN I ACCESS THE CLASSES, WORKSHOPS AND OTHER MEMBERSHIP CONTENT?
Everything is conveniently housed within this virtual studio! You can access this studio via our Zenler app, or via your desktop computer, tablet, etc. All video lessons and live-streams will happen within this online studio.
I HAVE SO LITTLE TIME. OUT OF ALL OF THE EXERCISES I COULD BE DOING, WHY YOGA?
